The ordercomprises of design engineering supply and delivery of five heat recovery steamgenerator for GT26 at Fujairah site. The hydro order for 5 x 51 MW for bujagalihydro electric power station at Jinja in Uganda. The main contract was awardedby Salini to Alstom Group. For this project Alstom Projects India will beexecuting the orders worth Rs 350 crores. The offshore scope of work for thisproject includes design manufacture and supply of turbine generator balanceof plant and hydro mechanical equipment… The main contract was awardedby Salini to Alstom Group. Eliot Spitzer says a German company that makes compressors for industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment will open a new manufacturing facility in suburban Syracuse. The governor says the Bitzer Scroll plant will employ nearly 300 people in high-end engineering and manufacturing jobs. The plant will open in a former General Motors factory in the town of Salina. Bitzer officials promise to invest $30 million into the new facility over the next five years. Spitzer who announced the deal Thursday says the state will give Bitzer a $1. 4 million grant to help complete the project.
