(PETRCHEMICALS: QATAR)(Qatar Petrochemical Company Ltd. )(Brief article) Uhde has won the front-end engineering and design contract on a plant being planned by Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco) at Mesaieed. The German firm has received a letter of intent for the contract from Qapco. The plant will produce low-density polyethylene commonly used to make plastic bags.
