KLG Systel Buys 51% Stake in Engineering Solutions Firm Atlantis Lab

KLG Systel plans to grow the newly acquired unit to an estimated 1000 design and analysis seats by the year 2008. The new unit will focus on Automotive Aerospace Industrial Machinery Heavy Engineering Ship Building Power and Process verticals where there is a strong demand for Product Design and Product Life Cycle solutions and services. The design center will also have an ultra modern rapid prototyping and testing facilities for the industry providing KLG Systel’s clients to carry out live prototyping and testing of the designs being delivered.

Mack is a registered patent agent with experience in drafting patent applications and providing product clearance for a variety of technologies. His expertise is primarily in the mechanical arts including combustion gas turbine and power plant applications. He has previously worked as a patent engineer mechanical design engineer and turbine design engineer at Power Systems Mfg. LLC and Pratt & Whitney as well as an internship with the Department of the Navy. Brian joined SHB from Power Systems Mfg LLC where he served as a patent agent and engineering manager.

Bangkok ethane plant contract awarded

The plant is to be built in the Map at phut Industrial Complex 180km southeast of Bangkok and will process 800mmscfd of gas. Producing 550000 tpy of ethane gas the plant will boast the world’s largest such capacity. Samsung Engineering received the contract on a turnkey basis which includes the engineering procurement construction and pre-commissioning of the plant.
