This training course focuses on nano-technology knowledge engineering and information security. Industry experts from relevant fields would provide insight and training to the students. Upon completion of training certificates would be provided. A press release from the company said that it is a requisite for every engineering student to undergo in-plant training to be professionally qualified by acquiring skills through live experiences.

Admission The programme is meant for promising engineers drawn from the manufacturing sector who have the potential to occupy top management positions. A first-class degree in any branch of engineering is the basic eligibility for this course. Also the candidates should have a minimum five-year (as on July 31) experience in manufacturing and related sectors holding responsibilities in production planning and control research design and development quality control plant engineering maintenance marketing and so on. Candidates can be sponsored by their employers. The batch size for the academic year 2007-08 will be 30 to 35. It is a full-time residential programme for a year. There will be 32 weeks of classroom interactions case studies tutorials lab sessions projects at the IITs with 960 interaction hours.

McElduff has more than 20 years of experience in ITS electronics and communications systems. Leah Forero joined Bayside Engineering in Tampa as a senior drainage engineer in the transportation program. Forero has more than 12 years of experience in civil engineering design. Jason Sysak joined Bayside as a project manager in the land development program. Sysak has more than 11 years of engineering experience. Jordan Caviggia joined Bayside as a transportation engineer. Caviggia previously worked for five years for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation… Bruce Flareau was appointed chief medical informatics officer for BayCare Health System in Clearwater. Flareau previously was VP of medical education for Morton Plant Mease Health Care. Rodriguez joined Watson Clinic in Lakeland. Rodriguez will practice internal medicine.

The inclusion of a maintenance-based engineering show like PWE will make the 2008 event a ‘one-stop shop’ for UK manufacturing engineering and maintenance strategies. Exhibitors at last year’s group of co-locating shows praised the high quality of contacts made during the event and said most of them were actively pursuing live projects. Visitors to the 2008 event are likely to be engineering professionals from all areas of industry: from plant works maintenance mechanical electrical and facilities managers to those running factories production warehouse and logistics or training operations. All will be able to take advantage of the proximity of so many different suppliers as well as the technical seminars that will run alongside the exhibitions.
