SME will also provide an independent view of the mine design and customize it for use of quality value priced Chinese equipment. Also good progress has been made in forming a Tsahir Community Association (TCA) that will represent the local community where the mine is located. City grants tax breaks to engine plant

The previous plant footprint went from 1. 2 million square feet to 980000 square feet. The current plant stands at roughly 804000 square feet according to City Engineer Bill Hogan’s assessment of the blueprints. The proposed facility which consists of a manufacturing plant storage and material-handling main structure and various smaller structures around the building will be close to the corner of Fort Street and Van Horn Road at the southwest end of the property. The existing plant’s parking lot is directly east of the proposed site. The existing Trenton Engine Plant sits on the northeast part of the site. The public hearing probably will mark the final formality before the ball gets rolling on construction should the Trenton site be chosen according to city officials.
